Categories pages show broken link when click on them

I just installed the link bid software. When I click on a category, it comes back with an error message - broken link.

Any assistance to solve this problem will be appreciated.

Its a classic .htaccess problem. Please do a search for .htaccess in this forum, you should see a solution to the problem. Lets know if you need any more help after that.
